UNDERSTANDINGING YOUR OBSTETRIC APPOINTMENTS

The Women’s Health Group promotes healthy pregnancies through active management of all obstetric patients. OB care for a non-complicated pregnancy typically includes 12 in-office appointments with the patient’s assigned physician or available nurse practitioner, a 20-week anatomy ultrasound, initial lab work, 28-week glucose testing, delivery, and post-partum care.

The Women’s Health Group must have proof of a valid pregnancy before care can be established. We offer a HCG blood pregnancy test in-office. We will honor pregnancy test result from another medical practice, the Pregnancy Testing Center, or the local Health Department.

Patients are required to provide proof of valid insurance before care can be established.  Patients without insurance will be required to make a payment of $1,000 at the first appointment.
